Narrative:
Practicing touch-and-goes at cpk airport. On third touch- and-go flared too soon and floated. Overcorrected and started pilot induced oscillation. Aircraft bounced twice on main gear. I then relaxed back stick, and nose settled to runway. Nose tire blew, and propeller impacted runway. Aircraft shut down, all equipment secured. Contributing factors: variable winds may have affected this occurrence. All 2600 hours of my flight time is in high performance jets with gross weight 20000-70000 pounds. Lack of flight time in light aircraft, and their landing characteristics was the biggest factor affecting the quality of human performance.
