Narrative:
On day 2 of 5 day trip with same crew all month, flight receives taxi instructions from bos ground control -- 'hold short of taxiway K and look for air carrier B.' as I proceeded with my other duties as first officer (setting trim tab, V speeds, EPR), I looked up too late to find captain taxiing onto taxiway K ahead of a commuter (no 'air carrier B' in sight). The commuter was at least 100 yards away and there was no problem of conflict. 3 mistakes were made: although captain heard the ground controller's instructions, he did taxi onto taxiway K. I should have made sure he watched for 'air carrier B' before assuming my other duties. Ground controller should have told us to 'hold position until 'air carrier B' passes and then use taxiway K to runway.' in addition, it would have been very helpful if they would have advised us of the commuter.

Title: UNAUTH TXWY ENTRY OP.
Narrative: ON DAY 2 OF 5 DAY TRIP WITH SAME CREW ALL MONTH, FLT RECEIVES TAXI INSTRUCTIONS FROM BOS GND CTL -- 'HOLD SHORT OF TXWY K AND LOOK FOR ACR B.' AS I PROCEEDED WITH MY OTHER DUTIES AS FO (SETTING TRIM TAB, V SPDS, EPR), I LOOKED UP TOO LATE TO FIND CAPT TAXIING ONTO TXWY K AHEAD OF A COMMUTER (NO 'ACR B' IN SIGHT). THE COMMUTER WAS AT LEAST 100 YARDS AWAY AND THERE WAS NO PROB OF CONFLICT. 3 MISTAKES WERE MADE: ALTHOUGH CAPT HEARD THE GND CTLR'S INSTRUCTIONS, HE DID TAXI ONTO TXWY K. I SHOULD HAVE MADE SURE HE WATCHED FOR 'ACR B' BEFORE ASSUMING MY OTHER DUTIES. GND CTLR SHOULD HAVE TOLD US TO 'HOLD POS UNTIL 'ACR B' PASSES AND THEN USE TXWY K TO RWY.' IN ADDITION, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL IF THEY WOULD HAVE ADVISED US OF THE COMMUTER.
