Narrative:

Flying wbound on sarasota VOR 288 degree radial and transiting on leeville 102 degree radial at cruise I turned to keep on course with autoplt just prior to point on out of range from both VOR's, evidently the autoplt stayed in a small 2-3 degree turn to the south and I noticed we were approximately 30 degrees off course to the south. I corrected by turning back to get on course but we were unable to determine the course because neither VOR had a 'lock on' and about the time we finally got leeville 102 degree radial locked on, ZJX told us a heading to correct to on course. There was no conflict with any aircraft and our TCASII shown no traffic in our area.
