Flight attendants called and said slide back was out of case. We returned to gate. Maintenance fixed slide and signed off logbook.

Title: THE FORWARD EVAC SLIDE WAS DISCOVERED OUT OF ITS CASE ON TAXIOUT AND THE FLC RETURNED TO THE GATE TO HAVE MAINT SECURE THE SLIDE APPROPRIATELY.
Narrative: FLT ATTENDANTS CALLED AND SAID SLIDE BACK WAS OUT OF CASE. WE RETURNED TO GATE. MAINT FIXED SLIDE AND SIGNED OFF LOGBOOK.
