Narrative:
Upon gate arrival, right engine would not shut down using the right fuel shutoff lever. Right engine fire handle was pulled to shut off fuel control. Engine shutdown was monitored. Parking checklist was begun and, when checklist called for pneumatic xfeeds to be opened, the right pneumatic xfeed was opened. It was noted that the engine did not completely shut down and it relit when the engine fire handle was pulled back to its original full forward position. Low right engine N2 RPM was 20 percent and the right engine restarted to normal RPM. Egt was noted as 590 degrees when the restart occurred. Fire handle was pulled again to shut down right engine. Aircraft logbook entries were made for the stuck fuel control lever, over temperature and FOD check because right engine was operating with aft cargo compartment open.
