Narrative:
Upon departure ground observers noted that the tail rotor had struck a wire. No indications were noted during takeoff. Pilot was notified in-flight, aircraft was landed, inspected by maintenance personnel and released for flight.

Title: HELI TAIL ROTOR STRUCK WIRE ON TKOF.
Narrative: UPON DEP GND OBSERVERS NOTED THAT THE TAIL ROTOR HAD STRUCK A WIRE. NO INDICATIONS WERE NOTED DURING TKOF. PLT WAS NOTIFIED INFLT, ACFT WAS LANDED, INSPECTED BY MAINT PERSONNEL AND RELEASED FOR FLT.
