Narrative:

Fuel imbal. Over flight plan chkpoint, noticed fuel imbal. Noticed 1 boost pump off. Turned boost pump on and rebaled fuel. Probably the boost pump was knocked off when the other crew member left the cockpit. Procedures already in place, but want to emphasize the need for checking fuel over flight plan chkpoints.

Title: INFLT FUEL IMBAL, A VIOLATION OF THE ACFT'S OPERATING MANUAL PROCS AND THEREFORE A VIOLATION OF THE FARS.

Narrative: FUEL IMBAL. OVER FLT PLAN CHKPOINT, NOTICED FUEL IMBAL. NOTICED 1 BOOST PUMP OFF. TURNED BOOST PUMP ON AND REBALED FUEL. PROBABLY THE BOOST PUMP WAS KNOCKED OFF WHEN THE OTHER CREW MEMBER LEFT THE COCKPIT. PROCS ALREADY IN PLACE, BUT WANT TO EMPHASIZE THE NEED FOR CHKING FUEL OVER FLT PLAN CHKPOINTS.
