Narrative:
Normal climb out of rsw. Mistook 10000 ft for 8000 ft instructions and controller asked what altitude at approximately 9000 ft and told him we were on our way back to 8000 ft. High heat and long days in florida, 12-14 hour duty days in aircraft, with most of the time poor air-conditioning.
