Narrative:
At FL330 we received clearance to descend to FL310 discretion FL240. In descent, amendment descent FL290, discretion FL240. During descent to FL290, clearance amended to FL270. Leveled FL270 approximately 15 NM, the continued profile descent to FL240. Leveling at FL240 center called B-52 traffic and we called leveling FL240. Center then informed us we were only cleared to FL270.
