Narrative:
During initial phase of our ILS runway 3 to lynchburg we were being vectored by ZDC. The controller gave us a vector and cleared up for the approach. As I turned the aircraft I realized we were above GS at full deflection and localizer was centered. So we proceeded to catch the GS causing rapid descent which made the proximity devices go off causing distraction. Near decision ht approach was stabilized and we landed realizing we did not contact the tower. Center never handed off to the tower either. After contacting the tower they indicated our embarrassment was punishment enough.

Title: UNAUTH LNDG -- ACR LANDS WITHOUT CONTACTING THE TWR.
Narrative: DURING INITIAL PHASE OF OUR ILS RWY 3 TO LYNCHBURG WE WERE BEING VECTORED BY ZDC. THE CTLR GAVE US A VECTOR AND CLRED UP FOR THE APCH. AS I TURNED THE ACFT I REALIZED WE WERE ABOVE GS AT FULL DEFLECTION AND LOC WAS CTRED. SO WE PROCEEDED TO CATCH THE GS CAUSING RAPID DSCNT WHICH MADE THE PROX DEVICES GO OFF CAUSING DISTR. NEAR DECISION HT APCH WAS STABILIZED AND WE LANDED REALIZING WE DID NOT CONTACT THE TWR. CTR NEVER HANDED OFF TO THE TWR EITHER. AFTER CONTACTING THE TWR THEY INDICATED OUR EMBARRASSMENT WAS PUNISHMENT ENOUGH.
