Narrative:
I was contacted by pease tower that the local police thought that we would be a problem because of fireworks in the area. Responded by saying we wouldn't be a problem nor in the area above the fireworks and that we had been advised of the time the fireworks were to be started. Police disagreed and filed formal complaint with FAA. Have commercial certificate for night aerial advertising. Problem: police perception from the ground.
