Narrative:
Request by msp to descend from 9000 ft to 4000 ft within 10 DME northeast of mkt VOR -- at that time I was 11 NM DME southwest of mkt. By time I was at 4000 ft I was 15 NM DME northeast of mkt VOR. It was impossible to descend any faster taking into account conditions of passenger comfort, and distance plus a very hot day.
