Narrative:
Left engine failed because of unapproved rod bolts installed per ad 95-07-01. These rod bolts came in avco lycoming packages and were installed under existing guidelines and approval.

Title: ENG STOPPAGE OF SMT TWIN DUE TO PISTON ROD BOLT FAILURE.
Narrative: L ENG FAILED BECAUSE OF UNAPPROVED ROD BOLTS INSTALLED PER AD 95-07-01. THESE ROD BOLTS CAME IN AVCO LYCOMING PACKAGES AND WERE INSTALLED UNDER EXISTING GUIDELINES AND APPROVAL.
