Narrative:
Following contact with lihue tower upon entering the lih class D airspace at kilohana crater, I noticed another aircraft turning left in front of me head on. I started a descent from 1500 ft MSL to avoid the other aircraft. Call made to other aircraft as advisory. Passed below other aircraft, continued descent to 1000 ft MSL.
