Narrative:
Nosewheel light bulb out. On arrival at buf during the postflt, the first officer noted that 1 of the nosewheel light bulbs was out and its case cracked vertically. On departure preflight nothing unusual was noted and the light appeared to work en route as neither of us have any idea when the bulb case cracked and the light was rendered inoperative. This debrief was to state our perceptions for the record as we entered the normal PIREP stating the problem in the log upon arrival and notified the agent.
