Narrative:

We had deviated south of course for WX past covia and were in the clear, beginning a right turn to rejoin J-86. Aircraft began to oscillate on roll axis plus or minus 20 degrees. Disconnected autoplt and yaw damper, advised ATC of control problem and requested descent. ATC cleared us for descent to FL310. Oscillation continued through FL330. We leveled at FL310, re-engaged autoplt and yaw damper. No further problems throughout flight (approximately 1 hour 15 mins). Logbook write up was made in iah. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: callback in conjunction with turbojet upset incident callback questionnaire.
