Narrative:
Air carrier flight XXX from bos to iad. We were cleared to cross robrt intersection at 10000 ft and 250 KTS. Copilot was receiving IOE and was flying aircraft. I was busy on company radio and doing descent checklist when I realized that we were at 16000 ft and 10 mi from robrt. I had copilot deploy speed brakes and increase rate of descent. Center asked if we were going to be able to make restr and I told him that we had pushed the aircraft over to get it on down. The center then switched us over to iad approach. We crossed robrt at 11500 ft and 300 KTS. Nothing was said about this by approach and we continued in and landed on runway 12 at iad.

Title: FLC FAILED TO MEET XING RESTR CLRNC. TRAINING ACTIVITY INVOLVED IN PROGRESS.
Narrative: ACR FLT XXX FROM BOS TO IAD. WE WERE CLRED TO CROSS ROBRT INTXN AT 10000 FT AND 250 KTS. COPLT WAS RECEIVING IOE AND WAS FLYING ACFT.
