Narrative:
On a cross country from teb-elm, the left side panel window of the PA28-151 broke out. Unknown where it hit the surface, mixed area of populated and unpopulated. Window was cracked before takeoff, did seem safe as it had been cracked for several months. Worries: that it hit a person or vehicle. Corrective action: don't take off with cracked window.

Title: DURING AN INSTRUCTIONAL XCOUNTRY FLT, ONE OF THE COCKPIT WINDOWS FELL OUT.
Narrative: ON A XCOUNTRY FROM TEB-ELM, THE L SIDE PANEL WINDOW OF THE PA28-151 BROKE OUT. UNKNOWN WHERE IT HIT THE SURFACE, MIXED AREA OF POPULATED AND UNPOPULATED. WINDOW WAS CRACKED BEFORE TKOF, DID SEEM SAFE AS IT HAD BEEN CRACKED FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. WORRIES: THAT IT HIT A PERSON OR VEHICLE. CORRECTIVE ACTION: DON'T TAKE OFF WITH CRACKED WINDOW.
