Narrative:
Approximately 20 mi east of lancaster, PA, I called the tower, gave them my position and requested landing instructions. They told me to report on a left downwind for runway 8. When I reported they said they didn't see me. Eventually, they saw me, and said they thought I was coming in from the west, not the east. Eventually, they said there was another aircraft arriving from the west with a similar n-number landing at lancaster, which caused the confusion. They then said I was cleared to land. The confusion got my attention and shook me a little. The landing was routine, and I turned off the active runway at the first intersection, and noticed the slope was a short distance in front of me. While taxiing, I inadvertently crossed another runway. The tower immediately told me I had crossed an active runway without permission. I apologized, and told them that the confusion that took place during the landing, got me a little uptight and probably contributed to the incident. There was nobody on the runway at the time, and I probably mistook it for another taxiway.

Title: PLT INADVERTENTLY TAXIED ACROSS ACTIVE TXWY WITHOUT CLRNC.
Narrative: APPROX 20 MI E OF LANCASTER, PA, I CALLED THE TWR, GAVE THEM MY POS AND REQUESTED LNDG INSTRUCTIONS. THEY TOLD ME TO RPT ON A L DOWNWIND FOR RWY 8. WHEN I RPTED THEY SAID THEY DIDN'T SEE ME. EVENTUALLY, THEY SAW ME, AND SAID THEY THOUGHT I WAS COMING IN FROM THE W, NOT THE E. EVENTUALLY, THEY SAID THERE WAS ANOTHER ACFT ARRIVING FROM THE W WITH A SIMILAR N-NUMBER LNDG AT LANCASTER, WHICH CAUSED THE CONFUSION. THEY THEN SAID I WAS CLRED TO LAND. THE CONFUSION GOT MY ATTN AND SHOOK ME A LITTLE. THE LNDG WAS ROUTINE, AND I TURNED OFF THE ACTIVE RWY AT THE FIRST INTXN, AND NOTICED THE SLOPE WAS A SHORT DISTANCE IN FRONT OF ME. WHILE TAXIING, I INADVERTENTLY CROSSED ANOTHER RWY. THE TWR IMMEDIATELY TOLD ME I HAD CROSSED AN ACTIVE RWY WITHOUT PERMISSION. I APOLOGIZED, AND TOLD THEM THAT THE CONFUSION THAT TOOK PLACE DURING THE LNDG, GOT ME A LITTLE UPTIGHT AND PROBABLY CONTRIBUTED TO THE INCIDENT. THERE WAS NOBODY ON THE RWY AT THE TIME, AND I PROBABLY MISTOOK IT FOR ANOTHER TXWY.
