Narrative:
The scheduled flight was phl-cae-mia. During descent on the second leg (cae-mia) we were informed that the aircraft was down upon arrival into mia due to a hydraulic leak. All indications were normal. We were informed by the mechanic (mia) that a crack had been detected in phl by mechanics. The crew was not informed, nothing was written in the logbook.

Title: DC8 FLC INFORMED OF HYD LEAK ON DSCNT TO COMPLETION OF FLT.
Narrative: THE SCHEDULED FLT WAS PHL-CAE-MIA. DURING DSCNT ON THE SECOND LEG (CAE-MIA) WE WERE INFORMED THAT THE ACFT WAS DOWN UPON ARR INTO MIA DUE TO A HYD LEAK. ALL INDICATIONS WERE NORMAL. WE WERE INFORMED BY THE MECH (MIA) THAT A CRACK HAD BEEN DETECTED IN PHL BY MECHS. THE CREW WAS NOT INFORMED, NOTHING WAS WRITTEN IN THE LOGBOOK.
