Narrative:
Flight departed lga en route to pbi. On climb out from lga ny departure control advised us that our flight plan had timed out and had dropped out of the computer. The controller asked us for the routing of the original clearance and then cleared us on that routing to pbi. Contributing factors were a late arrival inbound to lga. This was followed by a mechanical problem which further delayed our outbound flight. Some passenger were deplaning to find a quicker way to get to pbi. During this whole process the clearance was received by pre departure clearance with a valid time till XX15Z. We taxied for takeoff at XX00Z and took off at XX24Z. In being busy with the many things that were going on at the time we overlooked the XX15Z time.
