Narrative:
Loss of engine after takeoff possibly due to water in fuel. Make a double sample draw of fuel to insure no water. At approximately 300 ft AGL lost power on engine and made an off field landing.

Title: SMA HAS ENG FAILURE AFTER TKOF.
Narrative: LOSS OF ENG AFTER TKOF POSSIBLY DUE TO WATER IN FUEL. MAKE A DOUBLE SAMPLE DRAW OF FUEL TO INSURE NO WATER. AT APPROX 300 FT AGL LOST PWR ON ENG AND MADE AN OFF FIELD LNDG.
