Narrative:
Takeoff from runway 19, albany, ny, assigned altitude 3000 ft. We were given a 270 degree vector from departure control. We were advised of VFR traffic that would maintain at or above 3500 ft. During the turn our TCASII system gave us a TA alert followed by an RA. We tightened our turn (about 35 degree bank) and tried to follow the RA, but it exceeded the performance of the aircraft. The RA was commanding 2300-2500 FPM climb, but we were heavy and the temperature was hot. The airspeed at the time was about 200 KTS as we had just cleaned up and were turning. Red TCASII blip almost merged with ours and we watched the other aircraft descend below ours. TCASII then declared clear of conflict and we leveled at 3000 ft.

Title: NMAC -- CTLR INFORMS AN ACR THAT A VFR ACFT WOULD HOLD ITS ALT. THE VFR ACFT DSNDS -- NMAC.
Narrative: TKOF FROM RWY 19, ALBANY, NY, ASSIGNED ALT 3000 FT. WE WERE GIVEN A 270 DEG VECTOR FROM DEP CTL. WE WERE ADVISED OF VFR TFC THAT WOULD MAINTAIN AT OR ABOVE 3500 FT. DURING THE TURN OUR TCASII SYS GAVE US A TA ALERT FOLLOWED BY AN RA. WE TIGHTENED OUR TURN (ABOUT 35 DEG BANK) AND TRIED TO FOLLOW THE RA, BUT IT EXCEEDED THE PERFORMANCE OF THE ACFT. THE RA WAS COMMANDING 2300-2500 FPM CLB, BUT WE WERE HVY AND THE TEMP WAS HOT. THE AIRSPD AT THE TIME WAS ABOUT 200 KTS AS WE HAD JUST CLEANED UP AND WERE TURNING. RED TCASII BLIP ALMOST MERGED WITH OURS AND WE WATCHED THE OTHER ACFT DSND BELOW OURS. TCASII THEN DECLARED CLR OF CONFLICT AND WE LEVELED AT 3000 FT.
