Narrative:

On SID out of san runway 27. As we were heading eastbound, right generator failed, causing autoplt disconnect, autothrottle disconnect, flow light airspeed warning, and an assortment of other lights due to generator inoperative. First officer was flying and lost his airspeed and HSI indications. I took the aircraft and had first officer get out QRH. APU picked up right bus and QRH procedure for right generator inoperative and xtie lockout were followed. After system were returned to normal, I noticed we had passed pogey and had not turned. I made contact with ZLA who assigned us a heading and we returned to proper course. Remainder of flight was uneventful and landed at dfw.
