Narrative:

A few weeks prior to skd flight from clt-dab an equipment sub was submitted to operate on a B757-200. This equipment sub went through all the proper channels to operate. After departure from clt, dispatcher advised manager that this equipment type is not authority/authorized for daytona beach (operations specifications does not authority/authorized). This was brought up to management's attention and flight was going to divert to orlando, fl, but management gave a verbal ok to land in daytona beach, fl. Management advised dispatcher that they would give a full disclosure of this situation to the FAA on monday.

Title: UNAUTH LNDG. ARPT NOT LISTED IN OP SPECS OF ACR.

Narrative: A FEW WEEKS PRIOR TO SKD FLT FROM CLT-DAB AN EQUIP SUB WAS SUBMITTED TO OPERATE ON A B757-200. THIS EQUIP SUB WENT THROUGH ALL THE PROPER CHANNELS TO OPERATE. AFTER DEP FROM CLT, DISPATCHER ADVISED MGR THAT THIS EQUIP TYPE IS NOT AUTH FOR DAYTONA BEACH (OPS SPECS DOES NOT AUTH). THIS WAS BROUGHT UP TO MGMNT'S ATTN AND FLT WAS GOING TO DIVERT TO ORLANDO, FL, BUT MGMNT GAVE A VERBAL OK TO LAND IN DAYTONA BEACH, FL. MGMNT ADVISED DISPATCHER THAT THEY WOULD GIVE A FULL DISCLOSURE OF THIS SIT TO THE FAA ON MONDAY.
