Narrative:

Cargo only flight, A300 type. We were eastbound into mem at FL370. We were given a crossing restr to cross 105 NM west of wallet intersection at or below FL270 to maintain FL240. The time spent programming the FMS should have been used starting a descent. I thought the crossing restr would be made but we crossed 105 NM west of wallet at FL275. The problem was discovered when the controller said he showed us 105 NM west and asked our altitude. I believe the cause was temporary loss of situational awareness while trying to program the FMS and not manually starting a descent when the clearance was first given.

Title: ACR FLC IS 500 FT HIGH AT A XING RESTR. THEY KNEW THAT THE XING WAS GOING TO BE DIFFICULT TO MAKE, BUT DELAYED WHILE PROGRAMMING THE FMC. THEY KNOW THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE STARTED DOWN WHILE IN THE PROGRAMMING PROCESS.

Narrative: CARGO ONLY FLT, A300 TYPE. WE WERE EBOUND INTO MEM AT FL370. WE WERE GIVEN A XING RESTR TO CROSS 105 NM W OF WALLET INTXN AT OR BELOW FL270 TO MAINTAIN FL240. THE TIME SPENT PROGRAMMING THE FMS SHOULD HAVE BEEN USED STARTING A DSCNT. I THOUGHT THE XING RESTR WOULD BE MADE BUT WE CROSSED 105 NM W OF WALLET AT FL275. THE PROB WAS DISCOVERED WHEN THE CTLR SAID HE SHOWED US 105 NM W AND ASKED OUR ALT. I BELIEVE THE CAUSE WAS TEMPORARY LOSS OF SITUATIONAL AWARENESS WHILE TRYING TO PROGRAM THE FMS AND NOT MANUALLY STARTING A DSCNT WHEN THE CLRNC WAS FIRST GIVEN.
