Narrative:

While taxiing out for takeoff at dfw I used firm braking in order to make a turn from taxiway K to taxiway Z. First flight attendant notified cockpit that one of our flight attendants had fallen in the galley and needed to be returned to the gate. We requested medical assistance meet aircraft. The flight attendant was standing in galley, reaching up as I slowed and turned aircraft onto taxiway Z, and this contributed greatly to her fall. Flight attendants should not be standing for taxi and should be seated at duty stations while aircraft in motion on ground.
