Narrative:
On takeoff, as aircraft pitched up, a water bottle rolled back from under the captain's rudder pedals, apparently lost and left by another crew member. I guess I have a new personal preflight item! Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated he was flying a B737-300. He said he is a lot more conscious during his preflight of what is loose around the cockpit and flight controls.
