Narrative:
At approximately XA00 CST I received an IFR clearance from midway mdw clearance delivery to go to milwaukee mke. The clearance was poorly delivered and contained discrepancies. Upon query, the clearance was reread once and possibly twice with some changes before I was satisfied that I had copied it correctly. I departed mdw about 1 1/2 hours later and flew the clearance as copied. When mdw tower handed me off to chicago radar, the controller immediately noted that my flight path was not the one he was expecting. He immediately changed my flight path to avoid a developing conflict and vectored me onto a new route to my destination. I was asked to call chicago radar on the phone after landing just before my arrival at mke. I called and talked to a supervisor at the facility. I was told that the incident was to be investigated immediately and asked for a phone number where I could be reached in about 2 hours. I gave a number and was called back in about 2 hours. I was informed that the investigation showed that the incident was deemed to be a system deviation and that I would not be involved any further. I accepted that and continued with my mission.

Title: WRONG CLRNC DELIVERED TO FLC. AFTER DEP ATC INTERVENED WITH VECTORS. POST FLT ATC FLC REVIEW.
Narrative: AT APPROX XA00 CST I RECEIVED AN IFR CLRNC FROM MIDWAY MDW CLRNC DELIVERY TO GO TO MILWAUKEE MKE. THE CLRNC WAS POORLY DELIVERED AND CONTAINED DISCREPANCIES. UPON QUERY, THE CLRNC WAS REREAD ONCE AND POSSIBLY TWICE WITH SOME CHANGES BEFORE I WAS SATISFIED THAT I HAD COPIED IT CORRECTLY. I DEPARTED MDW ABOUT 1 1/2 HRS LATER AND FLEW THE CLRNC AS COPIED. WHEN MDW TWR HANDED ME OFF TO CHICAGO RADAR, THE CTLR IMMEDIATELY NOTED THAT MY FLT PATH WAS NOT THE ONE HE WAS EXPECTING. HE IMMEDIATELY CHANGED MY FLT PATH TO AVOID A DEVELOPING CONFLICT AND VECTORED ME ONTO A NEW RTE TO MY DEST. I WAS ASKED TO CALL CHICAGO RADAR ON THE PHONE AFTER LNDG JUST BEFORE MY ARR AT MKE. I CALLED AND TALKED TO A SUPVR AT THE FACILITY. I WAS TOLD THAT THE INCIDENT WAS TO BE INVESTIGATED IMMEDIATELY AND ASKED FOR A PHONE NUMBER WHERE I COULD BE REACHED IN ABOUT 2 HRS. I GAVE A NUMBER AND WAS CALLED BACK IN ABOUT 2 HRS. I WAS INFORMED THAT THE INVESTIGATION SHOWED THAT THE INCIDENT WAS DEEMED TO BE A SYS DEV AND THAT I WOULD NOT BE INVOLVED ANY FURTHER. I ACCEPTED THAT AND CONTINUED WITH MY MISSION.
