Narrative:
After uneventful landing, I was #1 of 3 approaching to landing, exited second turn off runway 07 at orl. Tower told me to call ground. After switching or as I called and rolled down 100 ft of taxiway, ground then stated 'I guess you can now taxi to FBO being you already started.' I was in error because I had not received formal clearance to taxi. However, there were two close traffic landing and taxiing behind me, I felt that it was best to clear the area. There was no apparent traffic conflicts on the taxiway. However, in the future, I will patiently wait for my clearance before further taxiing. I think also that I, after telling tower my airport destination, I let my guard down. Lately I have operated out of places where tower usually monitors and does ground.

Title: RPTR COMMENCES TAXI TO DEST AFTER CLRING RWY WITHOUT GETTING TAXI CLRNC.
Narrative: AFTER UNEVENTFUL LNDG, I WAS #1 OF 3 APCHING TO LNDG, EXITED SECOND TURN OFF RWY 07 AT ORL. TWR TOLD ME TO CALL GND. AFTER SWITCHING OR AS I CALLED AND ROLLED DOWN 100 FT OF TXWY, GND THEN STATED 'I GUESS YOU CAN NOW TAXI TO FBO BEING YOU ALREADY STARTED.' I WAS IN ERROR BECAUSE I HAD NOT RECEIVED FORMAL CLRNC TO TAXI. HOWEVER, THERE WERE TWO CLOSE TFC LNDG AND TAXIING BEHIND ME, I FELT THAT IT WAS BEST TO CLR THE AREA. THERE WAS NO APPARENT TFC CONFLICTS ON THE TXWY. HOWEVER, IN THE FUTURE, I WILL PATIENTLY WAIT FOR MY CLRNC BEFORE FURTHER TAXIING. I THINK ALSO THAT I, AFTER TELLING TWR MY ARPT DEST, I LET MY GUARD DOWN. LATELY I HAVE OPERATED OUT OF PLACES WHERE TWR USUALLY MONITORS AND DOES GND.
