Narrative:
We were on radar vectors for an ILS approach runway 21L dtw. We received a RA from TCASII to descend. We started to descend and at 4600 ft we were clear of conflict. I advised ATC of our TCASII alert and were descending. ATC acknowledged our descent and advised us that the conflict traffic had us in sight. While climbing back to our assigned altitude, the autoplt did not level off at the assigned altitude and overshot by 300 ft.
