Narrative:
Unaware of an aircraft swap in an outstation our crew inadvertently flew a different aircraft than was shown on signed release. Aircraft we were supposed to take had departed before our new paperwork was available and the aircraft we actually flew was the same one we had brought into the outstation. First day of schedule change, no one had notified us of the swap, paperwork didn't show up until the last min, and our crew had been flying this same flight without swapping for 2 months.
