Narrative:
ATC controller asked altitude, we stated FL230. She said assigned FL220. No conflict, we descended to FL220. I thought she was in error, however, two 14 hour duty days and many delays due to snow storm. Who knows duty days too long, crew was tired.

Title: MISCOM ON CLRED ALT WITH RESULTANT ALTDEV. ATC INTERVENED AND FLC DSNDED TO CLRED ALT.
Narrative: ATC CTLR ASKED ALT, WE STATED FL230. SHE SAID ASSIGNED FL220. NO CONFLICT, WE DSNDED TO FL220. I THOUGHT SHE WAS IN ERROR, HOWEVER, TWO 14 HR DUTY DAYS AND MANY DELAYS DUE TO SNOW STORM. WHO KNOWS DUTY DAYS TOO LONG, CREW WAS TIRED.
