Narrative:
Due to unknown circumstances my operations called to tell me that 1 of my 3 flight attendants was needed on another flight and that we would go from fll to gso with only 2 flight attendants, legality based on maximum seating of 95 passenger on this particular B737-100 aircraft. Unknown to me this is no longer legal, based on evacuate/evacuation training which utilizes 3 flight attendants. The flight was otherwise normal.
