Narrative:
We were cleared to takeoff from runway 27L in mia. As we pushed up the power and started to roll, we saw an aircraft fly in front of us and land on runway 30. We never heard about the other aircraft and thought we had a clear shot. The only thing mentioned was wake turbulence for a departing aircraft ahead of us. Needless to say it scared us to see an aircraft land in front of us as we started to roll. If we had been 5 seconds quicker on the power, it could have been an accident.
