Narrative:
Shortly after setting takeoff power, the flap/rudder stop annunciator light illuminated. Takeoff attempt was aborted using standard abort procedures. Upon leaving the runway (31C), passenger were advised of the situation. The flaps were cycled from 5 degrees, to 15 degrees, to 0 degrees, and back to 5 degrees. The flap/rudder stop light was out by the time the aircraft initially left the runway and did not illuminate again. Checklists were repeated and an uneventful takeoff followed.
