Tower controller had our aircraft mixed up with another call sign þ- cleared 'us' to land as other aircraft. Tried to clarify just prior to landing when we realized we didn't have clearance to land.

Title: RPTR CLAIMS CTLR HAD ACFT CALL SIGNS MIXED UP AND CLRED THEM TO LAND. JUST PRIOR TO LNDG THEY RECOGNIZED THE CONFUSION AND TRIED TO CLARIFY.
Narrative: TWR CTLR HAD OUR ACFT MIXED UP WITH ANOTHER CALL SIGN þ- CLRED 'US' TO LAND AS OTHER ACFT. TRIED TO CLARIFY JUST PRIOR TO LNDG WHEN WE REALIZED WE DIDN'T HAVE CLRNC TO LAND.
