Narrative:

While performing touch and goes at jvy the pilot of a corporate twin-engined jet called clark county unicom, (jvy), for an airport advisory stating that he was inbound to jvy on the VOR (nabb) approach. He asked my location after being advised that I was in the pattern. I told him I had just lifted off. About 15 seconds after I turned left downwind for runway 36, I heard him report that he was low and 8 mi from the airport. He asked me if I had him in sight. I told him 'no, but I'm looking.' visibility was reported to be 10 mi. I turned left base for runway 36 and stated such. He stated he was doing a 4 1/2 mi left base for runway 36. (I honestly can't remember whether he stated his left base just before my stating left base or just after.) I was only 3/4 of a mi from the runway at that time. He called me again. The only things I remember saying in that transmission was 'you must be a jet.' he said 'that's right'. I said 'golly.' I was surprised by how quickly he covered those last 3 or 4 mi. I then called left final runway 36, touch and go. The other pilot then said 'there's not going to be enough room for the two of us down there.' I was 1/4 mi from the runway at that time and was maintaining my glidepath. I was looking around the aircraft, but did not see the other aircraft. About 7-8 seconds after his last transmission, the pilot called me again, asked how far I was from the runway. I stated 1/8 mi. I touched down 8 seconds later. About 3 or 4 seconds after I touched down, the pilot of the other aircraft announced a missed approach. I looked out of the windshield and saw the aircraft at my 1 O'clock position at 11 O'clock high. He was in a climbing, left turn at about 750 ft AGL. I suspected, at this time, that the pilot wanted me to go around so he could land without delay. (I would have done so if he would have asked.) I continued with my touch and goes. I saw the aircraft land as I reached mid-field on the left downwind for runway 36. When I turned final for runway 36 and stated same over the radio, the other pilot said that he 'would not be clear of the runway for 5 mins.' I slowed my descent and watched the aircraft very slowly roll onto the taxiway. (I believe he was upset for having to go around and he wanted to make me go around.) he finally passed the holding line after 20 seconds. I then continued with my touch and goes. After I landed, the airport manager/FBO operator told me that it costs a lot of money for a corporate jet like that to go around. Visibility was very good and it was half an hour before sunset. Jvy is non-twred airport. From the start, I perceived that the other aircraft would be landing after me. I believe a lack of communication caused this minor altercation and being impatient to land first aggravated it. I didn't know if I should send the NASA form, but decided to anyway.

Title: QUESTIONABLE RIGHT OF WAY FOR LNDG AT UNCTLED ARPT. CORPORATE JET HAD TO GAR WHEN SMALL PROP ACFT LANDED AHEAD.

Narrative: WHILE PERFORMING TOUCH AND GOES AT JVY THE PLT OF A CORPORATE TWIN-ENGINED JET CALLED CLARK COUNTY UNICOM, (JVY), FOR AN ARPT ADVISORY STATING THAT HE WAS INBOUND TO JVY ON THE VOR (NABB) APCH. HE ASKED MY LOCATION AFTER BEING ADVISED THAT I WAS IN THE PATTERN. I TOLD HIM I HAD JUST LIFTED OFF. ABOUT 15 SECONDS AFTER I TURNED L DOWNWIND FOR RWY 36, I HEARD HIM RPT THAT HE WAS LOW AND 8 MI FROM THE ARPT. HE ASKED ME IF I HAD HIM IN SIGHT. I TOLD HIM 'NO, BUT I'M LOOKING.' VISIBILITY WAS RPTED TO BE 10 MI. I TURNED L BASE FOR RWY 36 AND STATED SUCH. HE STATED HE WAS DOING A 4 1/2 MI L BASE FOR RWY 36. (I HONESTLY CAN'T REMEMBER WHETHER HE STATED HIS L BASE JUST BEFORE MY STATING L BASE OR JUST AFTER.) I WAS ONLY 3/4 OF A MI FROM THE RWY AT THAT TIME. HE CALLED ME AGAIN. THE ONLY THINGS I REMEMBER SAYING IN THAT XMISSION WAS 'YOU MUST BE A JET.' HE SAID 'THAT'S RIGHT'. I SAID 'GOLLY.' I WAS SURPRISED BY HOW QUICKLY HE COVERED THOSE LAST 3 OR 4 MI. I THEN CALLED L FINAL RWY 36, TOUCH AND GO. THE OTHER PLT THEN SAID 'THERE'S NOT GOING TO BE ENOUGH ROOM FOR THE TWO OF US DOWN THERE.' I WAS 1/4 MI FROM THE RWY AT THAT TIME AND WAS MAINTAINING MY GLIDEPATH. I WAS LOOKING AROUND THE ACFT, BUT DID NOT SEE THE OTHER ACFT. ABOUT 7-8 SECONDS AFTER HIS LAST XMISSION, THE PLT CALLED ME AGAIN, ASKED HOW FAR I WAS FROM THE RWY. I STATED 1/8 MI. I TOUCHED DOWN 8 SECONDS LATER. ABOUT 3 OR 4 SECONDS AFTER I TOUCHED DOWN, THE PLT OF THE OTHER ACFT ANNOUNCED A MISSED APCH. I LOOKED OUT OF THE WINDSHIELD AND SAW THE ACFT AT MY 1 O'CLOCK POS AT 11 O'CLOCK HIGH. HE WAS IN A CLBING, L TURN AT ABOUT 750 FT AGL. I SUSPECTED, AT THIS TIME, THAT THE PLT WANTED ME TO GAR SO HE COULD LAND WITHOUT DELAY. (I WOULD HAVE DONE SO IF HE WOULD HAVE ASKED.) I CONTINUED WITH MY TOUCH AND GOES. I SAW THE ACFT LAND AS I REACHED MID-FIELD ON THE L DOWNWIND FOR RWY 36. WHEN I TURNED FINAL FOR RWY 36 AND STATED SAME OVER THE RADIO, THE OTHER PLT SAID THAT HE 'WOULD NOT BE CLR OF THE RWY FOR 5 MINS.' I SLOWED MY DSCNT AND WATCHED THE ACFT VERY SLOWLY ROLL ONTO THE TXWY. (I BELIEVE HE WAS UPSET FOR HAVING TO GAR AND HE WANTED TO MAKE ME GAR.) HE FINALLY PASSED THE HOLDING LINE AFTER 20 SECONDS. I THEN CONTINUED WITH MY TOUCH AND GOES. AFTER I LANDED, THE ARPT MGR/FBO OPERATOR TOLD ME THAT IT COSTS A LOT OF MONEY FOR A CORPORATE JET LIKE THAT TO GAR. VISIBILITY WAS VERY GOOD AND IT WAS HALF AN HR BEFORE SUNSET. JVY IS NON-TWRED ARPT. FROM THE START, I PERCEIVED THAT THE OTHER ACFT WOULD BE LNDG AFTER ME. I BELIEVE A LACK OF COM CAUSED THIS MINOR ALTERCATION AND BEING IMPATIENT TO LAND FIRST AGGRAVATED IT. I DIDN'T KNOW IF I SHOULD SEND THE NASA FORM, BUT DECIDED TO ANYWAY.
