Narrative:

Upon arrival at dfw flight attendant came to cockpit and inquired about whether we had received paperwork on an armed passenger as indicated in her paperwork. We had not received any paperwork or notification that an armed passenger was aboard. The only indication either of us had was in the paperwork that included information about deadheading crew, and then at the bottom a line about an armed passenger. While deplaning we contacted the passenger who verified he had completed the paperwork and was in fact armed.
