Narrative:
065 degree heading for yyz level at FL250. Cleared by ZOB to FL270 and commenced climb, got TCASII traffic alert for yellow target at extreme edge of screen with altitude information not yet shown. Received command for immediate left turn to 360 degree from cle. Disconnected autoplt and rolled vigorously hard left (40 degree bank) with no delay and at same time received RA to 'descend, descend now' lowered nose and went back down through FL250. Observed red target at 2 O'clock with plus 6 altitude tag. With movement indicating clearing to right of our aircraft, stopped descent somewhere above FL240. During resolution, cle directed us to expedite to FL270 at which time we advised we had descended with TCASII RA. Other airline advised they had had an RA as well. Continued and landed at ottawa at XX08.
