Narrative:
When initially cleared for the lda, we asked if we were ahead or behind the traffic for runway 28L. Approach said we would be about abeam. He slowed us when we said we were to be staggered on the approach.

Narrative: WHEN INITIALLY CLRED FOR THE LDA, WE ASKED IF WE WERE AHEAD OR BEHIND THE TFC FOR RWY 28L. APCH SAID WE WOULD BE ABOUT ABEAM. HE SLOWED US WHEN WE SAID WE WERE TO BE STAGGERED ON THE APCH.
