Narrative:
On visual approach to runway 18L, south turns were requested and approved by tampa tower to correct high start given to us by approach control. Uneventful landing runway 18L. After arrival at gate comments by flight attendants caused some concern on our part as to how turning on approach to landing may have looked from the passenger perspective.
