Narrative:
ILS runway 18R into dfw, encountered hail at 1200 ft AGL. We had to execute a missed approach. Only safe escape route was east toward runway 17C. Aircraft on approach to runway 17C had to execute a missed approach. We were able to maintain visual contact with aircraft. ATC at dfw routinely rtes aircraft into hazardous WX and wake turbulence.
