Narrative:

Shortly after takeoff, observed low voltage light illuminate, also smelled smoke. Canceled IFR, turned back to airport. Advised controller at torrance. Landed without incident. Met by fire company and city vehicle. No signs of damage or fire.

Narrative: SHORTLY AFTER TKOF, OBSERVED LOW VOLTAGE LIGHT ILLUMINATE, ALSO SMELLED SMOKE. CANCELED IFR, TURNED BACK TO ARPT. ADVISED CTLR AT TORRANCE. LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MET BY FIRE COMPANY AND CITY VEHICLE. NO SIGNS OF DAMAGE OR FIRE.
