Narrative:
Landed a long ways from the ramp due to heavy boat traffic and waves. Ran the before ramping checklist, holding on the gear. We failed to complete the checklist prior to attempting to ramp the aircraft, and aircraft beached on the ramp with gear up. Our 1 passenger was deplaned using the normal exit. Aircraft was backed off ramp, gear extended, and a normal ramping ensued. The aircraft sustained minimum damage -- a 3 inch piece of keel strip needed replacing. We have run a ground school to increase awareness of the situation and have instituted a procedure of holding the gear handle by the PNF (when holding on the gear for operational reasons) till gear is put down, a second verbal on the gear prior to ramping, and an assurance that the checklist is complete. Supplemental information from acn 338522: incident happened on the second to last flight of a 12 hour, 12 leg day with 20 min turns. Fatigue was a factor.
