Narrative:
Maintenance called dispatcher for permission to defer flight idle/ ground idle system per MEL #xx-yy-zz. Dispatcher asked maintenance if thrust reversers were operating normally. Maintenance replied affirmatively. Dispatcher gave approval to defer flight idle/ground idle system. Found out later that left thrust reverser had indeed been placarded inoperative. No problems occurred during flight.

Title: DISPATCHER RPT REGARDING DEFERRED MEL ITEM, FLT IDLE GND IDLE SYS. DISPATCHER WAS TOLD THE THRUST REVERSERS WERE OPERATING NORMALLY. L ONE PLACARDED INOP.
