Narrative:

While working local control position I taxied a C172 into position to hold on runway 36. A B727 called ready to depart on runway 5. I cleared the B727 for takeoff and then cleared the cessna for takeoff, anticipating that the cessna would be through the intersection before the B727. The B727 became airborne midfield as did the cessna. I exchanged traffic between both aircraft and the B727 reported the cessna in sight. The B727 remained low through the intersection to avoid the cessna.
