Narrative:
At FL310 during cruise flight attendant called and said she smelled a burning odor in the aft lavs. First officer went back to verify the odor. Pulled both aft lav water heater circuit breakers. No change. Pulled recirculating fan circuit breaker. No change pulled flush motor circuit breaker. No change. Smell got worse and first officer saw smoke in the right aft lav. We diverted into den and declared an emergency.
