Narrative:
At XX00Z the traffic management coordinator announced that tower was commencing a departure flush and that all arrs will go to runway 27 (we were landing runways 22L and 27). That's all well and fine. However, the traffic management coordinator did not take any action to meter the arrival flow to runway 27 which caused an overflow of aircraft to the final vector position. It took nearly a half hour to get the airspace orderly but during that half hour the entire TRACON was put in a dangerously stressful situation. This is a daily occurrence at lucky logan.
