Narrative:
While en route to conduct a part 137 aerial application job, I overflew an automatic accident scene, at more than 500 ft AGL. I was in the area of fields I was about to spread insecticide on, when the event occurred. There were 3 fields just to the north of the accident scene that I was tasked to dust. I was in the process of inspecting these fields when I noticed there had been an automatic accident and several police cars were there as well as an ambulance and a helicopter (which was not running). I immediately vacated the area and began dusting the fields, purposely making all turns away from the accident and never overflying it again. There were no close encounters with any objects or persons on the ground, but I was informed later that the law enforcement on the scene were concerned.
